The European Union has launched the Next Generation Funds, with the aim of reactivating the economy and employment in Europe. Within this framework, and through the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, Spain has launched the Digital Kit program to support and boost the digitalization of both self-employed workers and SMEs.

The Digital Kit is aimed at self-employed individuals and SMEs with between 1 and 49 employees that meet the requirements defined by the Government. These companies have been classified into three segments:
SEGMENT I:
Companies with between 10 and fewer than 50 employees.
SEGMENT II:
Companies with between 3 and less than 10 employees.
SEGMENT III:
Companies with 0 to fewer than 3 employees and self-employed workers.

Maximum aid amount:
Objective: The main objective of this category is to enable you to have a website to gain visibility on the Internet.
Features and services:
Domain: Registration of a new domain name for the beneficiary SME for a minimum period of twelve months. The domain name will remain fully owned by the SME.
Hosting: hosting of the developed website for a minimum period of twelve months.
Website design: A website structure with a minimum of three pages or sections. Pages or sections of a website are considered elements such as the home page (landing page), company presentation, contact form, product description, contact information, site map, etc.
Web responsive: web pages designed and adapted to all types of devices.
Accessibility: designs that meet the AA level conformance criteria of the WCAG-2.1 Guidelines.
Self-manageable: Development provided with a content management platform. This will allow modification without the need for support.
Basic internet positioning: Your online store will be indexable by the main search engines (On-Page).
Multilingual: You will have the option of having your website prepared for multilingual support and translated into a language other than Spanish.
Objective: Create your website for buying and selling products and/or services using digital media for exchange. In addition to raising awareness of your brand, you’ll also have an e-commerce site or online store.
Features and services:
Creating an online store or e-commerce site and registering a product catalog: Production of a catalog by creating, importing, or uploading products or articles. Depending on the final budget, the number of references included to be uploaded will vary from 100 to a maximum of 300.
Payment methods: configuration and integration of payment methods.
Responsive Design: The designed E-Commerce solution will be adapted to be functional on all types of devices.
Web responsive: web pages designed and adapted to all types of devices.
